submitted by Molly H. - |Recommended: YesQuiet, Convenient Location Near Woods, Playground, Shopping Hardwood Floors. — Except for the one gunshot incident in the alley and occasional vandalism of cars in the parking lot, I have had no problems with this apartment and neighborhood. I can easily get everywhere I need to go by bicycle, bus, Lightrail, Metro, or on foot. The yard is kept clean and mowed. Outside my large windows are woods, birds, and, on the other side of the woods, a playground. At night I hear only crickets or tree frogs, so I feel comfortable and at peace in my apartment. My only concern is that new townhomes are going to be built at the end of the street, meaning that trees will probably be destroyed on the other hand, the homeless encampment in those woods will probably be relocated, which possibly may lead to less crime.

Most of the time they are quick to fix problems, although sometimes it does feel like more effort could be used. My main criticism would be the noise of my neighbors and the operators for the emergency line could be a bit more friendly. Other than that I have had a great experience living here.

Although there are always noises and sounds that come from an apartment building, I don't have anything too important complain about. It is always a little too warm inside, and I'm slightly concerned for how hot it will be in the summer here. I hope the staff does some landscaping outside, or plants some flowers in all the beds around the grounds. Other than that, I'm surprised how quiet it is on this road in Hampden, I hear birds constantly and hardly any cars. My leasing agent Scott made my move-in very convenient and if a problem did arise, he was quick to resolve it. I hope to keep enjoying my time here.

The residents that I have met have for the most part been really friendly. It is quiet, comfort & affordable. The staff has been very helpful addressing any problems with a caring manner. What is really great is that I can get to great restaurants, the movie, and shopping easily since almost everything is in walking distance. Also, there is the neighborhood shuttle which makes getting around easy.
